We are hoping that someone has access to the Middlesex County, New Jersey Militia records.

We have a newspaper article about Richard Livings and his family. In this article, it said that Richard Livings served as a private in the Middlesex County, New Jersey Militia, and these are records which indicate that he died in the service of his adopted county.

Richard Livings, was born about 1750, in England and he married Rachael (?), there. About 1770,, they came to America, bringing their sons, Joseph, Richard, Johnthan. Another son Daniel was born in New Jersey.

We are hoping, that someone can find Richard Livings listed in the New Jersey Militia.

Thank you,
