I'm trying to find revolutionary war proof on John Gaston Jr born 1752. I know he served in Capt. John Covenhoven's Company, and Col Samuel Forman's 2nd Regiment. Monmouth Co., NJ Militia
The article stated the Dept. of Def. shows him as a Sergeant as of July 1780 Where could I find the article----
