John Barnabas WAGGONER 1760 - 1808 lookup, please
Hi All.
I am searching for evidence of Barnabas Waggoner's military service in the Revolutionary War for a lineage society application.
Barnabas lived in SW Va, NW NC, Sullivan and Hawkins Co. He moved to St. Clair Co., IL, by April 1 1807. He lived in the Holston area 1781-1807, first on the headwaters of Beach creek and the waters of the Holston River and second on the waters of Reedy Creek, both sides, a north branch of the Holston river. Married Dorothea "Dolly" unknown.
I'd appreciate any lookups in published sources held in Virginia, as I live out of state. Alternate spellings of Waggoner include Wagoner, Wogoner, Wagner, etc.
Thanks.
Bonnie
