I have just found your message re the above via Google. I belive this may be my great grandfather. My grandmother is the daughter of Edward Pritchard and Annie White. They were married at St Mary the Virgin Church at Carrisbrooke in 1898. My grandmother is their daughter Beatrice. If you feel that this may be the same person please get in contact as I have just spent a week on the Island without much luck.
