Edward Pritchard - 2nd Scottish Rifles Boer War
I am looking for information regarding my Grandfather, Edward Pritchard. He was born abt 1870 and married in Carisbrooke I.O.W. Feb 1898. His father, Thomas was a farmer but I cannot trace a birth record for Edward or Thomas, nor any definite census records. Edward's children were born in the Surrey and Kent area - Edward, John Redvers, Beatrice, Ivy, Ethel and Harold. There are possible connections in Staffordshire and Hampshire. In 1898, Edward was a Corporal in the 2nd Battalion Scottish Rifles. I believe he could have served in the Boer War but would like to know how I can check this Thanks
