Yes the was 1901 census for Ireland, in fact it's the 1st to survive intact. Most of the early ones were destroyed or badly damaged in the fire at the Dublin Records Office in 1922.
Some parts of the census has been transcribed by various county family history societies, but I don't know if the full thing is available yet. Try Google.
