Classification: Query
Surnames: Pratt
I wonder if you could check if there is either of my ancestors on the list. I'm looking for both:

Arthur Pratt, born, 1849, previously (I think!)a Corporal in 9th Brigade Royal Artillery in 1880. Think he was still alive and a soldier in 1903, so we think he re-enlisted at some point, but I can't find Military records for him anywhere, just evidence of military connections on his son's birth, and marriage certificates.

Charles Edward Pratt, born 1880, Dover (to the above), he is absent from the 1901 census, but married in 1903 (in Scotland), and went to be a Railway Platelayer, travelling to Africa for this purpose in later life (I have him on passenger list in 1915 and 1918) so I was wondering if army was how he got into it, possibly following his father??

Thanks,
Lesley
