my gg granfather was b scotland joined the 85th of foot and was sent to canada not sure what year but he had a son born 1839 upper canada. can anyone give me any info please on this reg or where it was stationed in canada.
also any help on where to find a birth registration for his son. my gg granfather came back to live i england.
