I am searching for information on Jean Boutte' who came to the fort at MObile, Ala as a member of the French ARmy, but he was deported from the port of MObile to France to retreive his discharge papers which Jean Boutte had lost on Madeline Street in Paris, France and this happened in the 1750's - 1760's circa. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much
Also, Andre Claude Boutte, of Bourseville, France came to the fort at MObile, Ala, 1730's 1740's circa with the French ARmy and he served as the blacksmith, because he was called Andre Claude Boutte dit La Lime, which means file. Andre Claude Boutte was discharged from the French ARmy at Mobile, Ala. during the years of the late 1750's and he was married to Marie Josephe Bodin dit Miragouin, who was the daughter of Nicholas Bodin dit Miragoiun and his wife, Francoie Paille, and he was the father of Francois Cezar, Phillipe, Joseph Antoine, Loius Hilaire, and Jean Baptiste Boutte's. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much,
kitty
