According to his translated marriage record (1813, Biberkirch, Moselle, Lorraine, France), my great(x4)grandfather, Francois Conrad/Conrade (b.1777)was retired from the military. He would have served sometime between 1789 and 1813. Does anybody have any idea as to how I might find out more about his military service?
