Question, and please, if it sounds stupid, forgive my ignorance. I have a relative that was a "barber surgeon". Would he be wearing the same type of uniform as the other infantry men? Next, if he was from Bavaria, could/would he be sent where he was needed, or stay in Bavaria? How would a Bavarian end up with his picture taken in Prussia? If anyone could help me with this, I would appreciate it. Marcia
