My great-grandfather ran away from home in app. 1890 to join the
German navy. He lived in Thuringia, which I believe was part of
Prussia. We have a great photo of him in his uniform. Does anyone know a source who could help me identify the uniform -- rank, etc? Thanks -- Pat
