Currently volunteers are creating a database of the official casualties issued by the Germans during the First World War. In total, these lists contain approx. 6 million names; when I last checked the number of names in the database is 685,000. This means that since the project began at the end of December 2011, approx. 100,000 names have been added per week. This from less than 300 volunteers.
