Hi everyone,

Does anyone know anything about this group? It was stationed at Camp Matsushima in Japan during the Korean War. My grandfather was a Master Sargent in this group (early 1950s), but I can hardly find anything about it. From what I have found it looks like this group was part of the Army Security Agency, and may have eventually become the National Security Agency. Can anyone tell me what they did? My grandfather never talked about what he actually did while over there, although someone told me he may have "put people away/in jail." This was most likely guesswork on their part, however. He told me a few stories about his time in the Army, but none told me anything about what he did over there. Any information would be really appreciated! -- Stephanie F.
