I just used the Rootsweb search engine to locate posts at Rootsweb containing a particular surname that I am researching...a surname you included in the "Surnames" field of this post.
However...your post does not actually mention that surname... what a waste of my search time!
In fact, in this post...none of the surnames you listed in the "Surnames" field is mentioned in your post.
.
May I refer you to the "Board FAQ" link at the bottom of this page?
It states:
"...enter all the surnames mentioned in your post in the "Surnames" field. Please include only surnames that are mentioned in your post - not all the surnames you might be researching...."
That field is used by the Rootsweb search engine to locate surnames that are supposed to be mentioned in posts.
.
In the future I will not bother to check out your posts since I can expect "false hits".
