From the personal note I sent over in email , You will have seen I found out I had the wrong ship..
The correct one was SS MOUNT HOOD , which was not a Merchant Marine ship at all.
However, was blown up, at Seeadler Harbor, Manus, Admiralty Islands, 10 November 1944.
And my Jack was there .
