My wife has Villarreal ancestors and would like to learn more about that family line. Her grandfather, Octavio Marquez (1906-1982) married Eudelia Villarreal (1909-1985) in Brownsville, Texas. (Her parents are Bernardino Villarreal and Balbina Gutierrez -- no other informaiton known.)
Family lore makes reference to a number of Villarreal names being associated with the Revolution, but I have not yet proven the connections in writing. I have purchased a few books to get more educated about the Revolution.
