Surnames: Patton
Can anyone offer advice on how to trace service in the British Military? G-Grandfather was supposedly a drummer boy in the British Army from age 11 (ca 1869) until early 1880's. From there, he emigrated to the US.

John Howard Patton, born 1858, Armagh, County Tyrone. son of Joseph Patton and Elizabeth Howard/Harwood.
