Can anyone tell me what the letters "BSC" stand for? They were added after the persons name in the 1881 Census under a hand-written heading "Regt". The person was aboard HMS 'Jumna' heading to India at the time. Some say it stands for Battallion Support Corps while others believe it is Bengal Staff Corps?
