can anyone help by pointing me in the right direction please ? I am trying to find some information on Arthur Dunn, born 1853, Mendham, Suffolk.
In the 1881 census he is shown as being a driver stationed at St Johns Wood Barracks in London. What regiment would this have been? (I am assuming it may have been an artillery regiment, but am by no means certain). Is it possible to find his military career and any postings ?
Regrettably, Google has not been of much help, as it throws up hundreds of thousands of matches.
