My Husband was Born & lived In Edinburgh Scotland. His father Died when he was 10. I am trying to find some of his Army records/ info. Both his parents are Dead and Scotlands people website does not have any. Here is very limited if any.
Info I have is He was in Royal Scots Guards in WWII until he was wounded with head injury in front of Buckingham Palace. Then he was transfered to another unit. he was in Military for years before & after war.
I was told there is a military site that will release records as long as you can prove you are next of Kin.But this person had no idea where.
