Mariner John MURRAY, mate on the sailing ship HINDOSTAN about 1880
I am trying to find details of the above who was the mate on the sailing ship HINDOSTAN about 1880. I believe he was the mate on the ship and was discharged 4th June 1880 and died soon afterwards. Does anyone have any information on this ship the Hindostan official no. 45208 port of registry Aberdeen tonnage 673? The cert. states the description of Voyage or Employment as Sundsvall.John Murray's age is given as 43 and his mate's no. c.c.o.m 27367. I would like to know details of the ship and what happened to it, also any details of John Murray.
