Where can I find info online about my relative who was in the navy?

Surnames: Wilks Thompson Taylor
I have a relative called George Wilks Thompson Taylor who was in the navy. He was born in 1910 in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Sorry I don't have any more info. but I do have a picture of him in his uniform I can upload if that would help.
Can anybody tell me where I can look online to find out any info about him in the navy please?
Must be online as I live outside the UK and so can't get to the National Archives or whatever...
