I am undetaking some research on a Douglas J Russell and have come across his naval record which I need some advice on. At the start of his Navy career, aged 16 he was based on HMS Impregnable alongside this are in the remarks section it mentions the Lancashire Sea Training Home (See Image)Can I assume that he was a boy at this home before startting his naval career? Also there is another entry in the remarks as follows - K.C. (No 12814) issued 11/8/1920. Can anyone tell me what this is?
