The females uniform is for the Auxiliary Territorial Service, the British Army's female volunteer service during World War 2. It looks like she may have a Royal Artillery flaming grenade emblem on her left breast. If so she may have been attached to an anti-aircraft unit. One the attached photos you can see the white lanyard around the right hand shoulder. Also the second photo you can see the flaming grenade emblem on the woman's uniform on the right in the photo.

As to the men's uniforms, unfortunately they seem to be wearing British army fatigue uniforms with no visible regimental insignia. The group photo does have a few men with lance corporal rank. One thin I did notice was the age of the men. They seem a bit older as a group than what you would think for combat troops of the time. I almost thought it was a home guard unit for a moment, but again without a regimental insignia it's impossible to tell. Have you tried to send away for his or her military records?
