thanks for the info

His name was William Baker, he was born in Weston-super-mare Somerset UK on 22/oct/1888

He later moved to Bristol and became a grocers assitant and then opened a shop in Stapleton Bristol.

As to being a conscientious objector that is a pure supposition on my part, I remember from my youth he threw my xmas present - cowboy guns on the fire xmas day I just added the red cross badge and made an assumption which is probably wrong. I have looked for medals etc but have found nothing
