You said, “he returned 4 times and his occupation on passenger list was shown as an inspector”.
Haven’t found one for 1913, but there are several mentions on outgoing passenger lists England to India that could be him.
2 April 1908, Ship Sunda, passengers outbound London to Calcutta, India.
Mr H Fordham, Occupation Gent & Mrs Fordham, Lady, age not given.
4 May 1920, Ship Circassia, passenger outbound Liverpool to Bombay, India
Lieut. H Fordham, occupation Army, age 37, unaccompanied
1 October 1926, Ship Kaiser I Hind, passengers outbound London to Bombay India
Mr Harry Fordham, occupation Engineering Inspector, age 43, & Wife Kate Fordham
(Wife’s name matches possible wife in GRO marriage registrations as Kate Quick)
12 October 1932, Ship Ranpura, passengers outbound London to Bombay, India
Mr Harry Fordham, occupation Engineer, age 50, & Kate Fordham
24 September 1935, Ship Mooltan, passenger outbound London to Bombay, India
Harry Fordham, occupation Engineering Sig, age 53, unaccompanied.
Ycasso suggested you should check the India Office Records at the British Library and I certainly second that, they should have something about his army record and if he was an engineer/inspector on the Indian Railway they may have more information. If his wife died between 1932 & 1935 they should also have her death registration.
