The only thing I can tell you is this soldier is wearing a red sash, making him at a sergeant, colour sergeant or sergeant major.

The collar dog has a lion with it’s head looking outwards on the end of the body towards the buttons and it’s fore leg raised but can’t make out what it’s standing on; if you can rescan at a higher resolution it may be possible to identify what it is and that may identify the regiment.
