Teri,
I think I sent this info to your email, but I thought I'd send it here for general use for all. Below are some research sites to check out for doing research on the Army Airforces in WW II. Mine is the last site.
http://www.armyairforces.com/ WW II Army Air Forces private web site. Look under the heading “Research Help”. They have information on how to get records & information from the Federal Government agencies. Check their forumns also, lots of info there. Look under commands, Ground Stations for info on the 41st ADRS type groups.
http://afhra.maxwell.af.mil/ Air Force Historical Research Agency. You can get lost of online PDF formatted publications concerning WW II to Vietnam
http://users.skynet.be/jeeper/page82.html How to decode dog tags number
http://www.abmc.gov/search/wwii.php American Battle Monuments Commission, a good grave site locator
http://www.imretired.net/photogallery/login.php This is my site for the information I have on the 41st Air Depot Repair Squadron. You have to register (hit the register button). Send me an email at john@imretired.net to let me know you filled out the registration form & I will get back to you after I activate your account. I get a lot of spammers trying to get aboard, so I need to hear from you before I will authorize anyone access. I need to know the user name you used for this site. This is a free site that I want open only to people doing research. You can download anything there (forms, photos, orders & more). If you have anything interesting you can also post the item (s) there to share with others.
John
