All I have been able to find so far is my uncle's enlistment record and cemetary record. I am trying to find out what batallion or section he served in the military. I know by his tombstone that he was TEC 5 US ARMY WORLD WAR II but that's it. I do remember him telling me when I was about 9 yrs old that he served under one of the major US Generals and that his platoon (?) raided one of Hitler's top general's homes. He showed me actual family pictures & thngs he had taken from the general's home. But unfortunately I cannot recollect anymore than that.

I have tried researching the US Gov National Archives & a couple of places but no luck. Can someone lend me some advice???

Your help is greatly appreciated!
