Would like to know if anyone would share information on this battalion, specifically which county it might have been from in Alabama. I found a family name, "Christy" on the nps.gov Civil War site listed under "Ready's Battalion, Alabama Reserves" but they have no information on the the unit itself, where it was formed etc.
