The Adjutant General's Report has some militia records toward the end of the report. Here's a link to the AGR at Ancestry. For whatever reason they do not refer to it as the AGR (maybe I'm blind and just don't see it).

Search for you guy there. Also, you might be able to get the name of the militia from the Carter County historical society which will make your searching alittle easier.
