The Texas Archives have no record of his death at the Texas level. Can someone help me out, or tell me where to check to find out where he died? He is buried in Kaufman Co.,TX in the Pyle Prairie Cemetery. I have been told he was in the 1st Kentucky Regiment Battery B. Yet all my searches have yielded nothing. His headstone list him as a civil war veteran though its very hard to read. I am trying to locate a roster or anything that will give me an idea where to go.
