Surnames: Bell, Crosley
I'm trying to find my gg-grandfathers death and burial. I see that Ancestry has an Iowa Civil War Soldier Burial Record database. My g-grandfather was William A. Bell b abt 1843 in Ohio. He was in the 10 th Iowa Infantry, Company K. Rank in and rank out was Private. Can someone do a look-up in the Iowa Civil War Soldier database and see if he is listed. He seems to have disappeared. I cannot find any obit, tombstone listing, nothing on him. His wife Eva Ann Crosley/ Crossley applied for minor benifits for their daughter, my g-grandmother, Winifred in 1879. Any help is appreciated.
