Surnames: BOWEN
I'm looking for information on the above regiment and especially where to obtain a coppy of his service records..As the the unit was never accepted into the US military, I wonder if NARA would have any of his records.
James enlisted at St. John on the 7 Oct 1861 in Company F and served until the unit was disbanded and he wasmustered out on 20 March 20, 1862.
Any information would be very helpful.
