WOW! Thanks for such a quick responce! I don't think this is this the right George Gibson...There are gobs of Gibsons in Hopkinton!
This George Died 30 Oct 1908 in Dorchester, MA at the age of 67y 1m 8d...making his birth date Sept. 22, 1841...although 1900 census reports birth date as "Sept 1840" When I checked the Soldiers and Sailors Database, they had a George N. Gibson who served in the 65th Reg NY Inf. But there are a ton of George Gibsons from NY and MA, and there is no saying this is the right on too.
