MY GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT GRANDFATER WAS AT CAMP DOUGLAS. HIS NAME IS LEROY BROWN AND HE WAS IN THE 8TH TENNESSEE CALVARY, CAPTURED BY THE UNION ARMY NEAR PERRYVILLE BY COLONEL P.B. HAWKINS OF THE 11TH KENTUCKY VOLUNTEERS AND WAS TAKEN TO CAMP. DOUGLAS ARRIVING AROUND JANUARY 27, 1862. HE DIED MARCH 12, 1863. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT ANYTHING ELSE THAT I CAN, YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED.
