Jeremiah W Myers 1809-1894 Civil War Veteran

My GGgrandparents were Jeremiah W. Myers 1809-1894 born near Baltimore, MD and Mary Ann Harper 1817-1904 born VA. His father was Phillip b 1763 MD. Jeremiah's brothers were John m Sarah Pearson, Thomas m Harriet Harden, and Phillip Wilkes Jr [born Faurquier Co, VA or New Market, MD 1805] m Joanna Spacy. All moved to the Barnesville, Belmont Co, OH area and Jeremiah later owned a farm in Chesterhill. I am looking for more info on them and their ancestors. Their children married Norman, Male, Stonaker, Lett, Dickinson, Norris, etc. These are mixed race families.

brothers serving opposite sides

I apologize this is not off-topic.

A friend of mine is searching for factual stories about brothers who serviced on opposites sides of the civil war and both died in battle. Can anyone direct me to any specific books or resources that contain such researched information?

Any help is appreciated.

I HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH ON MY ANCESTORS AND WAS WONDERING IF SAMUEL HADLEY IS THE BROTHER OF JAMES HADLEY? I HAVE FROM THE ARCHIVES OF MARYLAND A MUSTER ROLL COPY THAT HAS JAMES LISTED DURING THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION AND SAMUEL IS ALSO THERE. JAMES IS MY ANCESTOR, BUT CAN'T FIND ANY LINK TO SAMUEL. Looking for any information on Daniel Creamer/Cramer that served in the Civil War. He was in H Company a Commissary Sergeant. Union. 3rd Regiment, Maryland Cavalry. That is all I seem to be able to find. Anyone know where I can find papers or more info on him?

John K. FRIEMOOTE; 57; Residence when entered service: Baltimore, Maryland; Date of enlistment: Aug 25 1845; Frigate Congress; Date of discharge: January 1849.

Jetson LANDER; 74; Residence when entered service: Baltimore, Maryland; Date of enlistment: Mar 1 1846; Brig Strombole; Date of discharge: November 1847.

Robert E. REED; 43; Residence when entered service: Baltimore, Maryland; Date of enlistment: Dec 1862; 2nd United States Artillery; Date of discharge: December 30 1865.
