Classification: Query
Jacob Simon, was in the Benton County Home Guards of Mo., Company F., enlisted Sept 13, 1861, in said county, was a Second Lieutenant. Disbanded June 13, 1861.

Jacob Sargent, was in the 4th., Prov., Reg, Mo., Militia Company K., Ordered into active service October 16, 1864, relived from duty March 11, 1865.

I do not know if this is the right Piper, but it’s the only one from Mo.

Lewis A. Piper, was of the 9th., regiment Missouri State Militia cavalry Co. I., was a private.
