It has been five years since you posted and I thought it was about time some one answered, I hope this in will help you in your hunt.
Clay Thomas, enlisted in the fourth Div., Missouri, company B., as a private in 1861, place unknown. He was at Carthage, Wilson’s Creek, Drywood and Lexington. More can be found in the History of Carroll County Mo., p. 375, ( The card is hard to read. ) and at the State Historical Society.
