I'm sorry I don't have any more info than that posted by Johnny Reb. I think many of these men lived very close to each other and/or were related in some way. My ancestor died as a POW in NJ. He left a wife and four boys one of which was the line of my husband. He had been released just as the war had ended but was too sick to come home. We are very proud of him, obviously, even though it may not be politically correst to be so.
