I downloaded your history of the 2nd Mississippi and was very much impressed with your effort thus far. Well organized and documented. Good luck with obtaining letters and photos. Like you I am surprised this regiment is so little reported. I also had a relative with the 4th Alabama which as you know was in the same brigade with the 2nd at the beginning of the war.
