Mitchell thanks for the site note, I had not seen this roster yet. I am going to request a complete history for John Bowen because from these various rosters there is too much conflicting information. With this one he is discharged as disabled and my informtion as died at Vicksburg. With the name of John L. Bowen also hase me wondering if he is the right person. The one I am thinking is without a middle initial.
