Ryer -- On Friday, August 1st, of typhoid fever, contracted while a prisoner in Richmond, Henry Augustus Ryer, the eldest son of Benjamin F. and Maria Ryer, a member of Company I, First Regiment, N.Y. Vol., in the 25th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the residence of his father, No. 216 West 42d St., on Sunday, August 3 at [ ] o'clock. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend, without further notice.
