I am trying to acquire any information on Richard Flanagan, an Australian born Civil War veteran. Any information on his life in Illinois or elsewhere, his family, descendants and especially where he is buried. All I have is Richard Flanagan was born in Sydney, Australia. His residence was not listed, but he enlisted as a Private on 8/10/1861, was mustered into "A" Co. Pennsylvania 72nd Infantry on 8/10/1861 and deserted on 12/28/1863. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I want to add him to the Memorial Website www.acwv.info.
