Is the same unit that is also known as Baxter Smith's? If so, my gr grandfather was a member of this unit. He was captured by the Union near McMinnville in Sep 1863 and held captive at Camp Morton, IN til the end of the war. His name was Landon Britt Richardson and I have not been able to find his parents. He was born 1831 in TN. Married first in 1858 to Martha Turner in DeKalb Co TN. Married my gr grandmother Nancy Frances Jennings in Wilson Co TN Dec 1865. They moved to TX about 1875. I have lots of Jennings info but keep hitting brick walls on the Richardsons.
