David Miller in the 8th TN Cavalry
I have been told that my GG-Grandfather, David Miller (b. 1822 in NC) served in the Union Army. I checked all the David Millers in NC Union Regiments and none fit my GG-Grandfather's age. His family was from Carter County, TN, so I checked the TN index. I found three David Millers. Two were in the 8th TN Cavalry and one was in the 3rd TN Infantry. Unfortunately, the index I found them in did not give any other information like date of birth or home of residence. Does anybody have access to any data base that could tell me if any of these David Millers is my GG-Grandfather. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
