Daniel RICKER, born abt 1824 in , Greene, TN; died 21 Jul 1883 in Limestone Springs, Greene, TN. He married (1) on 5 Oct 1846 in , Greene, TN Nancy ROLLINS, born abt 1829 in Greene, TN; died abt 22 Mar 1862 in Greene, TN, daughter of William ROLLINS (Sr.); (2) on 29 Sep 1865 in , Greene, TN Eliza L. KELLER, born abt 1843 in , TN; died 11 Sep 1886, daughter of James L. KELLER and Sarah A. (---).

Notes for Daniel RICKER
BIRTH: Military records, 'Greene Co Civil War Discharge Book', pg 438.
Grandfather is probably Peter RICKER. Father may be one of Peter's sons. Father could either be George, Martin, or Frederick. All are sons of Peter. Peter's son, Jacob, is ruled out, because in the 1830 Greene Co census, Jacob had no sons listed who would be Daniel's age. Gideon RICKER (who is not a son of Peter) is also listed in the 1830 Greene Co census with a son Daniel's age.
Peter's son William can also be ruled out as a father since he died in 1814. Peter's son John can be ruled out because he had another son named Daniel Peter and would probably not name two sons Daniel. Therefore, George, Martin, or Frederick (or Gideon) may be Daniel's father.
