Surnames: Elrod
I'm looking for any info on confederate soldier,Jesse R Elrod. He's regiment was 11th ark. inf.,company B.He was a private,died in 1863-1864,supposedly was wounded in vicksburg and died in a hospital there,sent home to be buried in Yell County,Arkansas. Born 1823 in Hart County,GA. I need to find documentation,but don't know how to go about it,HELP!
