I have an ancestor who was killed in a civil war skirmish on May 28, 1862 in Whte County, Arkansas. His name was amos Roark and I would like to know where he would be buried at and which units were in volved in this skirmish. The only skirmish I can find listed in White County, Arkansas on this date was at Searcy Landing, also known as Big Indian Creek, but I can find no information about the battle itself or who was involved. It only lasted a couple of days but there must be some kind of records on it.
